The Women in Business Community Network is a prominent nationwide organization comprising women who are either professionals or actively engaged in business enterprises. The organization is unified by a shared mission to advocate for the advancement of women in business and provide a platform for empowering like-minded women who are genuinely dedicated to the well-being and success of all. The Women in Business Network was established with the primary objective of enabling women to collectively address issues that impact their professional growth and business pursuits, fostering a unified voice to overcome challenges and barriers that affect their interests and hinder their progress in the business world.

What we do
The Women in Business Community Network is a prominent nationwide organization comprising women who are either professionals or actively engaged in various business sectors. Our organization is dedicated to the common mission of advancing the well-being of women, facilitating opportunities for business growth, and providing empowerment to women who share a mutual commitment to collective welfare. The Women in Business Network was established with the primary goal of enabling women to unite and advocate with a unified voice on matters that impact their interests and present obstacles to their professional and business development. Our mission encompasses the core pillars of financial inclusivity, market linkages, mentorship, networking, partnerships, as well as policy and advocacy. We maintain a presence in all eight regional economic blocs in Kenya, making us the go-to resource for female entrepreneurs in the country. Our overarching objective is to empower communities and combat poverty, and with a membership of 1.2 million women nationwide, we remain actively engaged in addressing the challenges faced by women-owned enterprises.
We are honored to announce that Women in Business received recognition from the President of Kenya, H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta, during his address on April 25, 2020. Our organization was acknowledged for its outstanding contributions in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, further underscoring our commitment to service and community impact.
